Andrew is a California State Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in pediatric services. He holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). He is also certified in and provides Interactive Metronome therapy. He earned his Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from California State University East Bay.
Andrew has worked as a Speech Therapist in the Cabrillo Unified School District located in Half Moon Bay, California where he worked with preschool and elementary school aged children to address a broad spectrum of speech and language differences. His expertise includes early intervention (ages two to three years old), receptive and expressive language delays, Autism spectrum disorders, school-aged articulation as well as fluency/stuttering disorders. In his private practice, Andrew has worked with children of all ages including, young adults with a primary focus on improving study skills through the use of language imagery and cognitive memory strategies.
Andrew's professional experience also includes the completion of internships at Community Gatepath in Burlingame, California, where he provided early intervention services to young children; the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District, where he worked with preschool aged children who attended Special Day classes; and the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where he provided rehabilitative care in the Spinal Cord and Acute Care Rehabilitation Services Departments.Andrew is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the California Speech-Language Hearing Association (CSHA) and the San Mateo County Speech-Language Hearing Association (SMCSLHA). He also holds a BA from University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business. He is happily married and is a parent to two wonderful boys.
